About me

I am Vansh Bordia, a lead software engineer with 7+ years building and running high-scale systems, including one that was acquired out from under me. I architected and shipped a production AI platform solo, from the data warehouse through the agentic layer to the React interface, serving 20+ organizations at sub-500ms P90 across 6B+ rows.

Leadership for me is hands-on. I act as primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, break organizational goals into strategies and priorities, and run agile rituals properly, including capacity-aware estimation and release coordination. Mentoring is the part I care most about: I have coached 5,000+ students, led teams to national podiums, and coached teams I was not on, teaching engineers to review each other rather than escalating to me.

Why me

I lead end-to-end troubleshooting and incident resolution on high-volume production traffic, using monitoring and logging to surface regressions before the affected teams do. Reliability is a feature, and I have kept 24/7 systems serving real users.

I lead across the stack rather than beside it: services, APIs, data platform and the UI on top, plus the incidents that follow. My best work is the full loop, so I write code, run deployments, and lead postmortems rather than only reviewing diagrams.
